BABULYA – that’s what grandchildren affectionately call their beloved grandmother. But what if your BABULYA is no longer human, but a bloodthirsty monster? You came to taste her pies… and she wants to taste you instead…
Your BABULYA has fallen ill. She stopped answering your calls, and you’re growing increasingly worried about her health. You decide it’s time to visit the old woman - something might have happened. After all, she lives all alone in a huge countryside mansion that she inherited.
Oh yes… the inheritance. If BABULYA is dead, that old house will be yours, since she has no one else.
Driving away these grim thoughts, you arrive at the estate. Not a soul around. Where is BABULYA? Is she alright? It’s time to go inside and find out.
BABULYA is a short first-person psychological horror experience. What secrets are hidden behind the walls of this vast, gloomy mansion? The game immediately immerses you in an atmosphere of fear and panic - realistic sounds and an incredible musical score create a sense of dread. You’ll feel as though the cold mansion is speaking to you, even if you cannot understand its words.
A walking-simulator-style horror game: solve puzzles, explore rooms and basement areas, and try to figure out where BABULYA is hiding from you.

I still can not get any progress done due to being softlocked.
Bought the game to live stream it, got soft locked twice trying to get the bear. First time, it let me get everything but the bear. When I attempted - no joy and got soft locked every time.
Awesome game, just finished recording it and am editing it now - just wanted to say, Great work! The atmosphere is amazing, music has a nice horrortastic charm to it as well as the overall graphics all look great!

This was a pretty cool game!
I enjoyed the story and soundtrack of this game.
I didn't like the Random jumpscares without any buildup.
I did on the other hand love some sound designs of this game!
I would love to see your games have more of a buildup before anything scary happens! Maybe even tease us a little with a buildup and then no scares. That will keep us on our toes!

Babulya relies more on psychological tension than on obvious jump scares. The atmosphere is dense, the pacing is slow, and the setting does much of the work in creating discomfort. Awesome scary games!!

One of the best jump scares I've experienced in a video game. The music kind of lightened the mood at least... If you're looking for a quick scare with a good story I definitely recommend this game!
